Hoof cracks are very common in the Rogue Valley. The region encompasses very wet conditions through the winter where all pastured livestock species stand in wet and muddy conditions. This is the perfect formula to enable the hoof to expand and become soft. These cracks are painful, require a lot of attention, and a good farrier.
